GATHERINGS The Society sponsors four gatherings each year, usually in the later spring/early summer and late fall/early winter. These take place in both Northern California and Southern California and are hosted by different chapters on a rotating basis. The gatherings are held at shooting clubs and usually include a display of firearms, catered lunch, guest speaker, and shooting events. Usually a gathering highlights a particular gunmaker or type of gun or action. Many society members are also members of the gunsmithing, gunmaking and engraving profession. Some are firearms writers. These experts are always an invaluable source of information at our gatherings.
