GREAT NEWS! A CONCOURS FOR FINE GUNS RETURNS TO CALIFORNIA! 

On March 16, 2008 the Western Concours d’Elegance of Fine Guns benefiting the National Rifle Association Foundation makes its debut at the headquarters of Greg Martin Auctions in San Francisco. A juried exhibition of both antique and modern long guns from  American and Continental gunmakers will highlight the day as both attendees and participants socialize in an atmosphere of shared knowledge and research. Fine guns, many of which only rarely come out of their safes, will be displayed on  clothed covered tables for public viewing.  Many of these guns will be shown with their case, accessories, and other memorablia. Judging will be  done in numerous categories and various awards will be given. Seminars, photography, and appraisals of fine guns will be offered. Fine gun collector societies, hunting fraternities, wildlife conservation groups,  custom gunmaker and engraving guilds, and industry sponsors will take an active role in making this event one that the fine gun collector won’t want to miss.
