9th - Greater San Francisco Chapter
The First of Two Flighted Duck Shoots
The details of the first shoot on October 7, 2011 are:
When: Friday, October 7, 2011
Where: Camanche Hills Hunting Preserve – 2951 Curran Road, Ione, California - 30 minutes east of Lodi.
The guns will be spread out between a number of blinds, 2 guns (max) to a blind. The 18 birds per gun are released about 3/4 of a mile away and fly down a ravine. Some good fast birds. (NOTE: The February shoot will be 16 birds per gun).
Note: The guns will rotate between all the stands/pegs.
Cost: $400 per gun (the price does not include food or bird cleaning and plucking),
Number of Guns – To make this go, we will need 12 guns minimum. The maximum is 20. First come – first served!
